Description

The Office of Workforce and Community Initiatives (OWCI) is seeking candidates to fill a new Program Coordinator the position will be located in Cole County based at 3705 MO Blvd 2 nd Floor, Jefferson City, MO.). Travel is required.

The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: direct and indirect supervision of staff within the programs, providing management and leadership;

• Contract management with amendments, renewals, and periodic Request for Proposals.

• Provide staff guidance on contractual requirements.

• Modifying and streamlining MAGI processes for both the contracted call center and processing center.

• Coordinate with leadership on any changes that impact staff that are processing MAGI cases with policy and legislative changes.

• Review any impending federal or state legislation and prepare the impacts to processes, eligibility, and systems for

both citizens and the Department for review by leadership.

• Make recommendations for programmatic updates allowable within the federal and state laws based on changes by other states, legislative changes, etc.

• Supervise a team that supports the MAGI contractors.

• Review production logs.

• All other supervisory duties as required by the department.

Bachelor’s degree and 4-7 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)

Preferred Experience:

Ø MEDES and FAMIS system knowledge.

Ø Exercise independence in problem solving.

Ø Skills in oral and written communication.

Ø Grant/Contract Management.

Ø Community involvement and partnership development.
