Position Overview

The City of Henderson announces an examination to create an eligibility list and to fill one (1) vacancy for the classification of Human Resources Technician within the Classification and Compensation Division of the City's Department of Human Resources. The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies for this classification for up to one (1) year.

Under general supervision, provides clerical, technical, and administrative support in one or more functional areas of Human Resources; provides customer service and assistance to City employees and the general public; and performs related duties as assigned.

Skill-Based Keyboarding Examination* | Remote/Online (Pass/Fail): Test invitations and instructions will be sent on a rolling basis *Candidates will be required to pass the keyboarding portion of the assessment process based on the number of net words per minute (WPM) listed in the minimum qualifications. Online Skills Assessment (Weighted 30%) - Invites will be sent on Thursday, August 28, 2025 and due Wednesday, September 3, 2025

Virtual Oral Board Interview (Weighted 70%) - Invites will be sent on Thursday, September 4, 2025 and due Monday, September 8, 2025
