Job Overview

Under general direction of the Director of Procurement & Contracts and the operational direction of the Lead Public Works Analyst, the Public Works Contract Analyst is a senior level position responsible for independently, negotiating, preparing, executing and managing diverse and highly complex and customized procurements including, but not limited to, Contracts/Agreements, Purchase Orders, and Request For Proposal (RFP)/lnvitation For Bid (IFB)/Request For Qualification (RFQ), Professional Services Agreements, Student Placement Agreements, International Agreements, Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), License agreements, Non-disclosure and Confidentiality agreements, Public Works, Professional Service agreements, and Leases. This Public Works Contract Analyst position will focus on Public Works, Design and Professional service contracts, and Maintenance procurements. This position is responsible for ensuring that all State, California State University (CSU) and campus policies and procedures are adhered to while meeting campus and legal requirements and program needs. The position will serve as the Small Business and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise coordinator and is responsible for applicable reporting.

Position Summary

Contract Analyst (Administrative Analyst/Specialist Exempt I)

This is a full-time, exempt position, which will lead toward permanent status following the successful completion of a probationary period.

Pay, Benefits, and Work Schedule

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $6,500 - $8,000 per month

CSU Classification Salary Range: $4,598 - $8,318 per month

Salary is commensurate with the background and experience of the individual selected.

This position is eligible for a broad range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances, retirement (CalPERS), tuition waiver, vacation and sick leave. In addition, 14 paid holidays are offered each year; 13 scheduled on specific days and a Personal Holiday that may be taken any time during the year.
