Job Summary

Salary:

Department Interface I - $25.21 - $32.15

Department Interface II - $26.63 - $33.95

Department Interface III - $28.28 - $36.065

Performs professional and technical work providing information and helping resolve user problems regarding department systems. Acts as an interface between the business and IT personnel to support the unit’s technology needs. Represents user area in all system enhancements and design activities. Reviews user requests and conducts data-gathering interviews. Documents business specifications and manages technology projects until completion.

Minimum Qualifications:

Department Interface I: Bachelor’s Degree in Technology or Business Management or related field and six (6) months technology-based customer service experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Must pass police background investigation. CAPM or PMP certification preferred.

Department Interface II: Bachelor’s Degree in Technology or Business Management or related field and two (2) years technology-based customer service experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Must pass police background investigation. CAPM or PMP certification preferred.

Department Interface III: Bachelor’s Degree in Technology or Business Management or related field and four (4) years technology-based customer service experience; technology-based customer service experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Must pass police background investigation. CAPM or PMP certification preferred.

Additional Qualifications for Promotion:

Promotions are not to be considered an automatic function of longevity and are subject to the review and authorization of the Supervisor. The employee’s last performance review must have resulted in an overall rating of Meets standards or better with no factor rating of less than meets.
