As a Reentry Resource Consultant you will coordinate and oversee all program activities related to community resources for the reentry programs that are administered by Capita Area Workforce Development.
To be successful in this position, the candidate will have experience coordinating community resources and engaging community partners to address the needs of returning citizens, including basic needs, healthcare, transportation, education, employment and housing assistance. Developing and expanding housing support will be a priority of this position. This work is accomplished by working with community partners, serving as a liaison between stakeholders, and monitoring the program budget with leadership.
The Reentry Resource Consultant also manages and monitors contracts with community partners to ensure effectiveness and compliance. Working effectively with partners requires high energy and enthusiasm as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Also, they will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to provide technical assistance, track performance, maintain accurate documentation, and submit accurate and prompt reports.

The Basics (Required Education and Experience) - Associate's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Human Resources Management or related field
- Two years of job-related experience
- Equivalent education and experience are accepted

Beyond the Basics (Preferred Education and Experience) - Experience with reentry and the justice system
- Familiarity with Wake County community and local government environment
- Proficient Bilingual English/Spanish communicator
- Experience with contract management
How Will We Know You're 'The One'? - Experience in building community support and coordination around programs or issues
- Experience with project coordination
- Proficiency in MS Office products
- Ability to maintain records accurately and consistently meet deadlines
- Ability to perform normal duties with minimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal skills
