CSEA Range 24 ; Full-time/Non-Exempt; 40 hours per week; 12 months per year

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

This Administrative Secretary, Non-Instructional position reports directly to the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Anti-Racism (IDEA) Officer and will assist with planning, managing, and executing the activities of the IDEA office. This position is also responsible for providing administrative support to two other individuals, the Manager of Grants Research and Development and the Director of Institutional Research.

Ideal candidates will have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively and possess strong organizational, budgeting, and communication skills to ensure the smooth operation of an engaging department. In addition, the person should demonstrate a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion to maximize their ability to serve our diverse campus community.

Work Schedule

The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Over the summer the schedule changes to Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with Friday off.

Minimum Qualifications

* Associate’s Degree education equivalency equals two (2) years of increasingly responsible work experience for each full year (24-30 units) of college. Work experience must be in an office setting.

** High School education equivalency equals an adult education diploma or four (4) years of full-time, paid work experience.
