This recruitment is only open to current San Bernardino County, Fire Protection District, or Special District employees who hold a regular, intern, contract, extra-help, recurrent, Public Service Employee, or Work Experience Program (WEX) position. Former PSE, WEX, or interns are eligible to apply up to six (6) months from the end of their assignment.

Are you a skilled project manager with a passion for driving innovation in human resources? We’re looking for a dedicated Human Resources Project Manager to support HR leadership in transforming our workforce through cutting-edge projects and initiatives. This role will focus on project management, driving process improvements, and overseeing the implementation of various projects and platforms, such as a human capital management system, employee relations database, onboarding technologies etc.

Key responsibilities may include:

**Salary increases contingent upon Property Related Revenue and/or statewide Realignment Sales Tax Collections performance.

Minimum Requirements

Education : Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, project management, or a closely related field.

-AND-

Experience : Two ( 2) years of full-time equivalent project management experience in which the primary responsibility includes oversight and coordination of projects, defining project scope, and developing and meeting project timelines, and/or experience with primary responsibility for professionally administering human resources programs (e.g., employee benefits, employment, employee/labor relations, classification, EEO, etc.,) in a public sector agency.

Desired Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a problem solver with a strong customer service focus and exceptional verbal and written communication skills; will have excellent planning and organizing skills with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple assignments and/or projects; and will be able to work effectively with others, both internally and externally, at various levels in the organization.
