We are currently seeking a Training Specialist Senior to join our team. This role leads and coordinates training activities, including the development of curriculum and delivery of job-specific training in support of Employee Relations initiatives. Areas of focus include Discrimination, Harassment, Sexual Harassment, and Retaliation, ensuring that our workforce has the knowledge and tools to maintain a respectful and inclusive workplace.

Job Description:

Purpose:

Leads and coordinates training activities to include development of curriculum and delivery of job specific training to meet departmental initiatives.

The City of Austin is seeking a Training Specialist Senior to lead and coordinate training initiatives that strengthen our workforce and promote a respectful, inclusive, and high-performing workplace. This role is key in designing and delivering impactful training programs in support of Employee Relations initiatives, with a focus on Discrimination, Harassment, Sexual Harassment, and Retaliation.

Salary Range: $32.23 - $40.29

Days and Hours:

Monday - Friday.
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Hours may vary due to operational needs. An alternative schedule and remote work/teleworking options are available, but position requires a minimum of 40% per week in office standard after initial probationary period.

Driving Requirement:

This position requires a Valid Texas Driver License or the ability to acquire one by your hire date. External New Hires must meet the City of Austin’s Driver Record Evaluation (DRE) requisite . To be considered for a driving position, applicants cannot have more than three moving violations or a total of six Driver Record Evaluation points within a period of thirty-six (36) months.
