The Department of Social Services is seeking a Research/Data Analyst with the IM Field Operations Unit.
Moderate amount of travel is required .

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Responsible for the development and management of both public and private dashboards and reports for FSD. Responsibilities would include data management and data source development, data cleaning and prep, and ultimately the development of visualizations and communication centered around data. These reports and dashboards would be used for both internal and external purposes to help drive data based decision making, better communication with stakeholders, and provide better transparency to the public and other FSD partners.
- Develop and manage large data sets from a variety of sources pertaining to the management and operations of work within FSD.
- Create reports, dashboards, or other communication to facilitate data based decision making and effective communication within the management teams at FSD, partner agencies and advocates, and the public.
- Analyze the data using the developed reports and make recommendations or communicate trends to support field management and executive management.
- Coordinate with other units to obtain necessary information for report development to ensure management has all necessary information to make well-informed and timely decisions.
Bachelor’s degree and
2-4 years of relevant experience and/or appropriate certification. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
Preferred Experience: Experience DSS Research and Evaluation, FAMIS and MEDES system teams, Change and Innovations and other vendors, Program and Policy, DSS Operational Excellence and Communications teams.
