Workdays & Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm; Some evening/weekend work required. This is an in-person position based at the Library Operations Center (8628 Camp Bowie West Blvd, Fort Worth, TX 76116) with the ability to work a hybrid schedule following the completion of the probationary period.

A Contract Compliance Specialist job is available with the City of Fort Worth Public Library. This position will assist with administering and monitoring Library vendor service contracts and will be responsible for ensuring contracts are processed and renewed in a timely manner. Additional responsibilities will include conducting routine program monitoring; reviewing files, policies, procedures and process assessments; and preparing reports for monitoring purposes.
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, finance or a related field
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working in a municipal setting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and reports
- Detail-oriented with the ability to review and understand contracts and agreements.
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials and Bonfire
- Experience in developing and maintaining spreadsheets, analyzing data, and preparing reports.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, with technical writing experience and work with internal and external customers and vendors to meet project-specific goals.
The Contract Compliance Specialist job responsibilities include: - Contract monitoring and oversight throughout their entire life cycle (e.g. bid advertisement, contract execution, purchase orders, renewals, change orders, etc.).
- Draft and routing contracts, renewals, and amendments.
- Support the Sr. Contract Compliance Specialist to provide a high level of accuracy, exceptional reporting and timely processing of invoices.
- Partner with Purchasing team to ensure appropriate procurement methods.
- Assist in the management of our contract tracking database and related information; and the improvement and maintenance of the contract filing system.

Light Work - Depending on assignment, positions in this class typically exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly having to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for the Sedentary Work category and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated Light Work.
