The Administrative Assistant (Temporary) will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks and support for the African American Cultural and Heritage Facility, including Customer Service, Facility Operations, and Safety.

Job Description:

Purpose:

Work in conjunction with other staff to perform a wide variety of administrative support tasks.

The African American Cultural & Heritage Facility (AACHF) plays an integral role in the City of Austin’s long-term commitment to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for African Americans. Named after the state-designated African American Cultural Heritage District, the Facility adds to the area’s cultural significance by offering arts, business, cultural and entertainment programming.

The Administrative Assistant (Temporary) will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks and support for the AACHF, including Customer Service, Facility Operations, and Safety.

Hours:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Tuesday 11:30-8:30 pm.
May be required to work during special events, evenings, weekends & holidays.
Work schedule and location are subject to change based on department needs and programs.

Compensation:
$21.63 - 23.79$/hour
