The Role:The Vice President of Facilities provides strategic leadership and oversight of the Capital Projects and Maintenance departments at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC). This executive position serves as the primary authority for delivering efficient facility operations, forward-thinking capital planning, and sustainability initiatives. Through visionary leadership and innovative solutions, the Vice President of Facilities plays a critical role in ensuring that the LVCC remains a world-class venue, aligning all facility functions with the Authority’s mission. This role demands exceptional executive judgment, subject matter expertise, and the ability to develop and inspire a high-performing team focused on operational excellence and sustainability.

- Strategic Leadership:
- Shape and execute comprehensive facility operations and capital planning strategies in direct alignment with LVCVA goals and future growth initiatives.
- Operational Oversight:
- Direct all aspects of Capital Projects and Maintenance, including the organization of building systems and proactive development of processes and schedules to ensure optimal operations.
- Advance a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, codes, and best practices in facility operations.
- Team Leadership:
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation in all Capital Projects and Maintenance functions.
- Sustainability & Innovation:
- Lead the Authority’s efforts to adopt cutting-edge practices that reduce resource consumption, increase waste diversion, and instill a culture of sustainable operations throughout the organization.
- Financial Stewardship:
- Prepare and manage annual operating and capital budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and alignment with short and long-term facility needs.
What We’re Looking For:- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, engineering, or a related field.
- Ten or more years of department head-level experience overseeing engineering, maintenance, or comprehensive facilities management in large, complex venues.
- Demonstrated experience managing teams in a collective bargaining environment, with effective labor relations and conflict resolution skills.
- Advanced written and verbal communication abilities to build relationships with vendors, executives, and Ambassadors at all levels.
- Proven skills in identifying problems, collecting and analyzing data, and framing actionable solutions to drive departmental and organizational success.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) or related software platforms.

Salary:
$150,400.00 - $215,125.00 Annually
