In order to be successful in our organization, the right candidate will be a team player, self-motivated, energetic, goal-oriented, and keeps up to date on the latest technology in their skill area.

The Senior System Administrator provides technical and administrative support for all components of server and operating systems and is responsible for planning, selection, implementation, maintenance, operation, and capacity management of computing resources including physical, virtual, and cloud for the county. This position will have the opportunity to work with industry leading systems that include virtualization, blade systems and storage technologies in both the data center and using cloud resources. These functions are provided for multiple versions of hardware, software operating systems, software applications and services. This position is expected to plan for capacity and demand; technology evolution; processes and procedures and customer support to ensure the on-going reliable and cost-effective delivery of services to county employees and the public.

The position requires a technical understanding of email operations and can provide support to both technical and non-technical users without being condescending. The BIT Services department provides a full range of services to nearly 3000 County employees and over 500,000 citizens. SCHEDULE:

This standard full-time position can expect to work Monday-Thursday and allows for hybrid work to be performed, both remote and in-office, as determined by business needs.

COMPENSATION:

Hiring Range: 102,000.00 - 115,000.00 USD Annual

Compensation will be determined based on education, experience, and skills.
