Position DescriptionThe Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences in the School of Health Professions at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center invites applications for the position of Adjunct Faculty in the Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) program to begin January 2026. The primary role of the appointment is course instructor. Instructor responsibilities will include developing and maintaining course content, grading assignments and instruction, and supporting contact sessions in Lubbock, Texas.
Major/Essential Functions- Teach a course in the Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) program. This will include the responsibility to travel to Lubbock, Texas, to provide face-to-face course instruction.
- Collaborate with program faculty and staff to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the program curriculum and educational experience.
Occasional Duties
Required Qualifications- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or greater.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of speech-language pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
