Job DescriptionWage Agency Instructor - NCCER $45.00 per hour 5 Positions AvailableTemporary/Casual Staff (Part-Time)Corpus Christi, TexasThe Role at a GlanceThe Wage Agency Instructor (NCCER), under general supervision, is responsible for delivering scaffold training in accordance with NCCER standards and OSHA regulations. Responsible for utilizing knowledge of adult learning theories and learning styles to help maximize learner success and ensure overall effectiveness of the course instruction. The instructor will conduct classroom instruction, hands-on-training, and assessments to ensure students gain the necessary skills for safe scaffold operations in construction and industrial settings.
This position reports to the Program Director, Business and Cyber Solutions.
Qualifications of the Role - High School Diploma or GED.
- Five years of experience in scaffolding, construction, or industrial settings.
- One year of adult education and/or training experience.
- Must live in the Corpus Christi area and willing to travel to Rio Grande Valley area.
- Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
- Must hold NCCER certification in Scaffolding or ability to obtain certification.
- Must hold OSHA certification (OSHA 10).
Equivalency: Will consider an associates degree and three years of experience or a bachelor’s degree and one year of experience. Must also have one year of adult education and/or training experience.
