Description
ABOUT THE POSITIONJOB SUMMARY:
The Clark County Water Reclamation District is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Industrial Wastewater Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor position. This position will be primarily responsible for:
- Overseeing and supporting the work of the FWRC Mechanical Maintenance Service Group
- Collaborating with management on developing/improving maintenance strategies
- Developing staff technical capabilities
- Expanding the implementation of Condition-based Maintenance technologies
- Developing scope of work for complex maintenance and repair jobs

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSQualifying education and experience must be clearly documented in the “Education” and “Work Experience” sections of the application. Do not substitute a resume for your application or write "see attached resume" on your application.
Education and Experience:- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Five (5) years of full-time experience in mechanical, electrical, or industrial-related trades, two (2) years of which must be a supervisory or lead role.
- Equivalent combination of formal education and appropriate related experience may be considered.
Licenses/Certifications: Requirements may vary depending on the area of assignment.
- Must possess a valid Nevada Class C driver's license at time of application.
- Nevada Water Environment Association (NWEA) Plant Maintenance Technologist (PMT) Grade II Certification at time of application; NWEA PMT Technician Grade III preferred.
- Reciprocity: Employees with out-of-state certifications for any of the above may seek Nevada certification through reciprocity application subject to review through certification agency within one (1) year from date of hire.
Working Conditions:- This role may involve occasional work in confined spaces, which could require obtaining Confined Space Entry certification.
Background Investigation: - Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation. Additional background investigations may be conducted periodically after employment.
Pre-Employment Drug Testing: - Employment is contingent upon the results of a pre-employment drug examination.
Medical Examination: - Employment is contingent upon the results of a physical examination performed by our examining physician.
