A Fleet Purchasing Manager position is available with the City of Fort Worth Finance Department. An opportunity is available for a highly seasoned and accomplished professionals to lead the procurement of goods and services, including vehicles and equipment; monitor and evaluate the quality, responsiveness, efficiency and effectiveness of purchasing programs, delivery methods and procedures; and work with employees on the continuous improvement and timely delivery of goods and services. The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both in writing and orally, to make project presentations to all levels of the organization; to establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work; and have an analytical approach to decision-making. The candidate should be able to think independently and work with minimal supervision when provided with a task or objective.
