Job AnnouncementThe City of Chandler Neighborhood Resources Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Community Navigator (Full-time, Limited Duration).This position serves at the discretion of the department director. The position is scheduled to work 5 days, 8 hours.

Who we are looking for Our new team member will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. We are looking for someone who identifies, engages and supports individuals and families experiencing unsheltered homelessness through outreach and referrals from public safety and other partners, with the goal of facilitating access to housing, services and resources to end their homelessness.

Minimum qualifications - A High School Diploma or GED; and
- 2 years of progressively responsible experience working with people experiencing homelessness, mental illness or addiction; and
- a valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record; or
- any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
The City of Chandler will conduct a?pre-employment drug and alcohol test and a driving record check as a condition of employment. An offer of employment is contingent upon acceptable?results. All applicants hired will be required to be fingerprinted with successful results as a condition of continued employment.
