Job Description

Location : Oklahoma City - 123 Robert S Kerr Avenue

Salary : up to $68,065.80, based on education and experience

Full Time /Part Time : Full Time

Work Schedule : Monday - Friday

Primary Hours : 8-5

Position Summary

This position will provide case management to all infants and families across Oklahoma for children with an out-of-range newborn screen result.

Position Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

Duties include, but are not limited to:


Education and Experience

Possession of a valid Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing or, Registered Nurse License recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) and 2 years of experience as a registered nurse. A bachelor’s degree in nursing and/ or experience in Newborn Screening, Neonatal/Pediatric Nursing, and/or case management is preferred.

Valued Knowledge, skills and abilities

This position requires specialized knowledge of the newborn screening process, diseases, and complex medical interventions. Ability is required to identify conditions, signs and symptoms, diagnostic testing, treatment, and potential outcomes. Effective leadership and communication skills are essential.

Must have excellent organizational and time management skills, as well as attention to detail.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This position is set in an office environment as well as in offsite office environments which require travel across the state. While performing the duties of the job, employees are frequently required to drive, stand, walk, lift, and reach. Being present in the office is an essential function of the job.
