Description
The JobArrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for a
Rehabilitation Services Manager whoprovides strategic, operational, and clinical leadership for the Rehabilitation Services Department within the hospital, the department consists of physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. This leader is responsible for expanding services, improving patient outcomes, enhancing team performance, and positioning the department for sustainable growth within the organization and the broader community.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Participate in managing and developing rehabilitation services personnel.
- Plan, direct, review and evaluate the work of staff and prepare and sign work performance evaluations.
- Participate in hiring and disciplinary decisions.
- Serve as a resource for subordinate staff.
- Develop the department budget and implement program policies and procedures.

ARROWHEAD REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER Located on a beautiful 70-acre campus in Colton, California (50 miles east of Los Angeles), Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is a state-of-the-art, public/nonprofit, 456-bed, university affiliated teaching hospital licensed by the State of California Department of Public Health and accredited by The Joint Commission. The hospital houses a regional burn center serving four counties (San Bernardino, Riverside, Mono and Inyo), a comprehensive stroke center, level I trauma center and a freestanding in-patient behavioral health center. Additionally, ARMC operates five community-based, primary care clinics and over 40 specialty care outpatient services. ARMC is the primary teaching hospital for the adjacently located California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM), the Inland Empire's newest medical school.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Pre-Employment Process: Applicants selected for these positions must pass a background investigation, physical and verification of employment history and education.
Certification: Must possess and maintain necessary license(s) and certifications as detailed in the minimum requirements.

Minimum RequirementsLicense: Applicants must possess and maintain a valid Physical Therapy license issued by the Department of Consumer Affairs (Physical Therapy Board of California)
OR Occupational Therapy license issued by the Department of Consumer Affairs (California Board of Occupational Therapy) .
Certification: Must possess and maintain current Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS).
Experience: Three (3) years of supervisory experience in an acute care hospital directing, assigning and evaluating the work of Rehabilitation Services Staff
OR Five (5) years as a full-scope supervisor over Rehabilitation Services Staff.
Desired QualificationsThe ideal candidate will posses experience managing budgets, staffing models, and productivity metrics, with a proven ability to develop and execute strategic growth plans. Strong knowledge of referral development, physician and community partnerships, and reimbursement models is highly desirable.
